Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning houses. Vacuums, washes dishes, sweeps floors, launders clothes, cleans and scrubs counters, and dusts surfaces.

Clean houses with a variety of chemicals, disinfectants, and machines.

  • Vacuum hardwood floors and carpet.

  • Sweep up debris.

  • Clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals.

  • Wash soiled clothes and linens.

  • Place fresh linens on the bed.

  • Wash, fold, and stack towels.

  • Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces.

  • Empty wastebaskets and take out the trash.

  • Wash dishes and put dishes away in cupboards.

  • Throw out expired food in the fridge.

  • Clean up after pets.

  • Clean upholstered furniture and drapes.

  • Dust tables, wood surfaces, and shelves.

  • Clean and dust window treatments.

  • Polish silver.

  • Wipe down appliances.

  • Stock kitchens with groceries and condiments.

  • Mop, polish, and wax floors.

  • Restock house with cleaning supplies.

  • Replace burned-out light bulbs.

  • Wash baseboards, walls, and ceilings.

  • Sweep driveways and walkways.

  • Disinfect equipment and supplies.

  • Turn mattresses, plump pillows, and change cushions.

  • Refresh flower vases.

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.

  • Proven experience house cleaning.

  • Sound knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning techniques.

  • The ability to follow instructions.

  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • The ability to adapt to changing schedules.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Punctual and reliable.

WORKING AS A HOUSE CLEANER

Working as a house cleaner or keeper is not for the faint at heart. Its a tough business and it will eat you a live if you not prepared. We want to give you the truth before you make the decision to apply.You will seevsome gross homes with conditions you may have never thought were possible. You will feel sick at times and may even become ill as well from smells etc. You will feel sad and many times your body may feel like its breaking down. This is the life of a housekeeper.

We provide commercial cleaning to some corporations ,medical practices, and also to the government. many of our customers leave big tips and we do not take this from you at all. Tips will come either in cash or customers will leave a tip electronically. When customers leave electronic tips you will see this amount in your pay summary under tips. All cash tips must be reported by you to the IRS.We will not be responsible for cash tips that are not reported.
