A mind is a scary place to live and to escape it might be the scariest part of the process. Depression is a prison and your thoughts are the armed guards whose job is to keep you locked up inside your mind. I've suffered from depression for many years. Embarrassing enough I will admit I'm still struggling every day to keep negative thoughts out of my head.
I know first hand what it feels like to feel like nothing at all, to be abused and feel mistreated. This is why I'm super excited about starting this outlet for young creative individuals and even those who never considered writing or creating. This is something that won't completely heal every broken heart or every mind in prison but it sure is a start.

A way to give back to the communities we love
We met the Pratt family in September of 2020 in Annapolis MD where we learned about their situation. Ms. Pratt is the mother of three children, she is single and she is doing the best she can to raise them. We managed to provide her with a house cleaning in the condition of her home. We asked her what she thinks would help her and her children around the house. She listed a few items that would allow her to cook and warm up food.
As we walked around the home ourselves we noticed a few basic essential items weren't there such as toilet tissue etc. Thank you for continuing to donate and help families in our communities.
